Basic Carbine - 2 Days

This course is designed for the new owner of a carbine or a beginning carbine shooter who wants to develop an understanding of how the weapon operates and also gain a basic proficiency with the rifle. The student will start the course with iron sights in order to develop a solid understanding of their usage and then, at their option, transition to optics if they have them available.

Students will begin with basic handling and marksmanship drills, as with the Introductory Class. However, each shooter will further add to their skill set with their carbine by working through various shooting positions, transitions in positions, multiple shots, multiple targets, and a variety of other practical range exercises.
